Strathcona Elementary - Beeswax Candle

Brought to you by the grades 6/7 split class from Strathcona Elementary!  These kiddos are working on a project about business management and entrepreneurship! 

DGS owner, Tamara, did a small session with the class; giving them the 4-1-1 on how to navigate through business ownership.  The class also has partnered with the Grosvenor company (our current Edgemont Village store landlords) and Alveole (an urban, rooftop beekeeping company) to make and market their products.

100% of their profits will be given to the EYA (Environmental Youth Alliance).  Their purpose is to connect BIPOC youth to nature and teach them about our ecosystems and urban agriculture.

This 5oz artisanal beeswax candle gives of the natural soft scent of honey.  Burns for approximately 25 hours.
