These amazing sponges puff up when soaked in water and are 100% biodegradable ensuring no micro plastics end up down the drain!
It is made from the spun fibres of the "konyakku" plant's roots and is extremely water retentive; it feels abrasive in its dried form, but when soaked this sponge creates a layer of moisture between itself and your skin for a scratch-free scrub.
This sponge should be allowed to completely dry out in between uses, and WILL need to be replaced every 3-6 months, depending on how well they're cared for. If you notice any mold growing on the sponge, it means it's stayed too moist for too long and you should discard it in your compost bin right away!
Available in two sizes; a small one for your face and a larger one for your body.
To rehydrate: soak in warm water for 15-20 minutes.
To dry: gently squeeze all excess water out and hang from included string.
